Shankhanil Chowdhury

Shankhanil Chowdhury is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in digital network architecture and solutions development, currently serving as the Head of Architecture for Digital Network Products and Platforms at Virgin Media O2 since March 2021. In this role, Shankhanil drives architectural strategies that enhance agility and efficiency across product and data teams. Prior to this, Shankhanil held various roles at BT Group, including Specialist Solutions Architect focusing on Software Defined Networking and Lifecycle Service Orchestration, and led transformation projects as a Senior Design Engineer. Earlier experience includes a position as a Network Operations Engineer at Atria Convergence Technologies. Shankhanil holds an MSc in Internet Engineering from UCL and a B.Tech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Vellore Institute of Technology.
