Jay Metcalfe

Jay is in an international financier and venture capitalist. He has an impressive track record funding and building successful mobile operator ventures around the world. He was involved in the formation of NASDAQ listed Millicom International Cellular , and developed the company as President and CEO to a worldwide wireless operator with more than 30 operating companies in 20 countries in Russia, Asia, Africa and Latin America.

While at Millicom Jay was a Director of Tele2, which has wireless operations in Sweden and the Baltics as well as MVNOs and broadband service providers in multiple companies across Europe. He was also a shareholder, board member and Chairman of the Audit Committee of Celtel, the pan African operator with 14 mobile operators, which was acquired by MTC of Kuwait. Jay has over 25 years of experience in developing international mobile operators all over the world.
