Leslie Cooper

Leslie Cooper has extensive experience in the music industry, working in various roles for well-known record labels and agencies. Leslie currently holds the position of Senior Vice President of Artist Development & Special Projects at Virgin Music, starting in November 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the Vice President of Marketing at Capitol Records from 2016 to 2022, where they oversaw a team responsible for executing marketing strategies and campaigns. Before Capitol Records, Cooper was employed by Columbia Records as the Senior Director of Marketing from 2013 to 2016, and by Atlantic Records as the International Marketing Director from 2008 to 2013. Their earliest work experience in the music industry includes managerial roles at Virgin Records America, Inc. andCapitol Records in the early 2000s. Leslie Cooper also has experience outside of the music industry, having worked as an Agent Trainee at Paradigm Talent Agency, a Radio DJ Assistant at Spike Radio, and in public relations and marketing roles at Guttman Associates Public Relations and Marketing and Levenson & Hill.

Leslie Cooper graduated from Southern Methodist University in 1998 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Corporate Communications and Public Affairs.
