Michael Roe

Michael Roe has a diverse and extensive work experience in the music industry. Michael began their career with Virgin Records in 1989, starting as a Sales Rep and eventually becoming the Head of Sales. In 2002, Roe joined EMI Music, where they held various positions such as European Sales Director, SVP of EMI Music Services, and SVP of Abbey Road Studios & EMI Music Services. In 2013, they became the Managing Director of Caroline International, Universal Music Group's Artist & Label Service Division, overseeing multiple offices worldwide and collaborating with renowned artists and labels. In 2021, Roe joined Virgin Music Label & Artist Services as the Managing Director before transitioning to the role of Managing Director for Virgin Music Group Africa, Middle East & Asia in 2023.

Michael Roe attended Huddersfield Poly from 1983 to 1987, where they earned a B.Sc. degree in Marketing (Engineering).
