Dan Whitelock

Dan Whitelock is an accomplished musician with extensive experience in performance, composition, and production. Currently serving as a house band singer and solo guitarist at Virgin Voyages since May 2022, Dan has also been a prolific freelance performer, composer, producer, and orchestrator since January 1995, showcasing proficiency in multiple instruments including drums, bass, guitar, keyboards, voice, and woodwinds. Previous roles include hosting karaoke at Sissy K’s and serving as a show band drummer for Celebrity Cruises, Inc. Additionally, Dan has experience as a music teacher at Berklee City Music Prep Academy. Dan holds a Bachelor of Music degree in Contemporary Writing and Production with a minor in Theory of Jazz and Popular Song from Berklee College of Music, which was earned between 2013 and 2018, following studies at Boston Arts Academy from 2009 to 2013.
