Meryem Rachyq

Meryem RACHYQ is a skilled marine engineer with extensive experience in various engineering roles within the maritime industry. Currently serving as a 2nd Engineer at Virgin Voyages since April 2021, Meryem handles propulsion systems, scrubber systems, and SCRs on operational ships while also participating in the start-up and delivery processes for new vessels, including the "Brilliant Lady" and "Resilient Lady." Previous positions include 3rd Engineer roles with FRS Ferry and CMA CGM, contributing to the operations of RORO passenger ferries and large container vessels. Meryem's educational background includes a Master's degree in Marine Engineering and a Bachelor's degree in the same field from the Higher Institute for Maritime Studies, complemented by various internships and practical training in maritime environments.
