Daryl Jones

Daryl Jones is an experienced educator and coach with a diverse background in health and physical education, as well as football coaching. Currently serving as the Varsity Football Coach and Defensive Line Coach at Chesapeake Public Schools' Western Branch High School since March 2016, Daryl also teaches Health and Physical Education at Portsmouth Public Schools, contributing to Positive Behavioral Intervention Supports and collaborating with colleagues to foster a balanced physical education program. Daryl's coaching roles extend to assistant positions in both varsity and junior varsity teams within Virginia Beach City Public Schools, where responsibilities include developing defensive strategies and motivating student-athletes academically and athletically. Previous experience includes working in special education programs and supervisory roles in community-based initiatives. Daryl holds a Bachelor's Degree in Health and Physical Education/Fitness from Norfolk State University.
