Linda Lavender

Linda Lavender is an experienced IT educator with a strong background in cybersecurity and computer networking. Since August 2014, Linda has served as an Adjunct IT Faculty member at Tidewater Community College, teaching various computer technologies. Linda has also been a Cyber Security and Networking Instructor with Virginia Beach City Public Schools since August 1997, where the focus includes developing and teaching a cutting-edge program encompassing ethical hacking and encryption. Additional teaching experience includes the role of Computer Networking Teacher at Virginia Beach City Schools - ATC and prior work as a Computer Network Teacher/Technician at Electronic Systems from May 1989 to August 1997. Linda holds multiple degrees from Saint Leo University, including a Master’s degree in Cyber Security and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems.
