Melody Cariello

Melody Cariello is an experienced education professional currently serving as the School Counseling Director for Virginia Beach City Public Schools since August 2015. Prior to this role, Melody worked as a School Counselor at Fairfax County Public Schools from August 2007 to August 2015. Earlier in her career, Melody gained valuable experience as a Paralegal Assistant at the U.S. Department of Justice from November 2004 to July 2007. Melody holds a Master of Education (MEd) in School Counseling from George Mason University, earned between 2005 and 2007, and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Human Development from Virginia Tech, obtained from 2000 to 2003.
