Vianney Armer

Vianney Armer (Vargas), M.Ed, is an experienced educator currently serving as an Elementary School Teacher at Virginia Beach City Public Schools since August 2022, specializing in an ESL/Inclusion classroom for multilingual students. With previous teaching roles at Zukeran Elementary School and Briggs Elementary School, Vianney has demonstrated flexibility by adapting to various grade levels and collaborating on integrated lesson plans in a 21st-century learning environment. Early career experiences include long-term substitution at Ventura Unified School District and serving as a Dual Language Elementary Teacher at Fort Worth ISD, where Vianney focused on bilingual instruction and academic development. Additionally, as an AmeriCorps Member with MAAC Project, Vianney coordinated educational programs and supported community initiatives. Vianney holds a Master of Science in Education from Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from UCLA.
