Tylar Marren

Tylar Marren is a dedicated mental health professional currently serving as a Mental Health Counselor at Communicate & Connect Counseling since May 2024. In addition to this role, Tylar has been a Youth Development Coordinator at The Virginia Beach Field House since January 2021. Previous experience includes an internship at ODU Student Rec Center, where Tylar was a Facilities Manager responsible for supervising staff and maintaining COVID-19 safety regulations. Tylar's background in customer service began as a Hostess at Keswick Tavern and as a Summer Camp Counselor at ESF summer camp. Additionally, Tylar served as an Equipment Manager for Old Dominion University's football team, ensuring proper maintenance and transport of athletic equipment. Tylar holds a Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from Old Dominion University, along with a Bachelor's degree from the same institution, and graduated from Cheltenham High School in 2017.
