Executive Vice President at Virginia Center for Inclusive Communities

Angelica Yankauskas, MSL has been in the workforce since 2010. Angelica began as a Recreational Therapy Assistant at St. Mary's Home and then moved to Harbor's Edge Norfolk in 2013 as a Program Coordinator for the Memory Support Unit. In 2018, Angelica joined Senior Services of Southeastern Virginia as a Wellness Department Supervisor, Program Coordinator for Home Delivered Meals, and Wellness Volunteer Coordinator. In 2020, they became the Executive Director of Meals on Wheels of Suffolk & Isle of Wight, and in 2022 they were appointed as the Executive Vice President of Virginia Center for Inclusive Communities.

Angelica Yankauskas, MSL has a comprehensive education history. Angelica obtained their Bachelor of Science in Therapeutic Recreation from Old Dominion University in 2013. In 2015, they obtained their Alzheimer's Dementia Care Plus certification from the Alzheimer's Association. In 2017, they obtained their EMT-B certification from Tidewater Community College. In 2019, they obtained their BLS/CPR/AED certification from the American Red Cross. In 2021, they obtained their Nonviolent Crisis Intervention certification from the Crisis Prevention Institute. Currently, they are pursuing their Master of Science in Organizational Leadership from Norwich University, which they are expected to complete in 2022.
