Dwight Jones

Dwight Jones is a board member at the Virginia Center for Inclusive Communities. Dwight has over 25 years of experience in financial leadership roles. Prior to joining the Virginia Center for Inclusive Communities, they served as the Chief Financial Officer at LeClairRyan from January 2015 to October 2019. In this role, they were responsible for all aspects of the firm’s accounting and financial operations, contributing to financial and strategic leadership, ensuring optimal department effectiveness through automation and continuous process improvement, financial data integrity, and assisting in the management of firm financial performance.

Before joining LeClairRyan, Mr. Jones served as the Global Vice President Commercial Analysis & Execution at MeadWestvaco (MWV) from January 2007 to December 2014. In this role, they were responsible for leading the global commercial organization's analysis and execution functions. Dwight also led the development and implementation of MWV’s global commercial strategy.

Mr. Jones began their career at Fannie Mae, where they served as the Director Financial Reporting from January 2006 to December 2007. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing all aspects of Fannie Mae’s financial reporting.

Mr. Jones has a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Virginia Commonwealth University and is a Certified Public Accountant in Virginia.

Dwight Jones has a BBA in Accounting from Howard University. Dwight is certified by the VBOA - Virginia Board of Accountancy as a CPA - Licensed in Virginia and by the AICPA as a Member of AICPA. Dwight is also a member of the Virginia Society of CPAs.
