Cheryl (Anderson) Smith is a seasoned accounting and business professional with extensive experience in various roles across multiple organizations. Currently serving as a Staff Accountant at Locus since November 2022, Cheryl previously held positions as an Advisor at Stornoway - Business and Policy Advisors, and as a Grant Processor/Mentor at Virginia Community Capital - VCC and Rebuild VA. Additional experience includes serving as a Business Manager at Virginia Tech School of Neuroscience and a Financial Services Associate at Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine and Research Institute. Cheryl also owned and operated Merle Norman Cosmetics in Christiansburg, VA, and has a background in Inventory Management and Inside Sales at Hubbell Lighting. Cheryl holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Virginia Tech, obtained between 1985 and 1990.
