Steven Barbery

Steven Barbery is a Provisional Elder with extensive experience in pastoral roles within the United Methodist Church, currently serving at the Virginia Conference since July 2011. Steven has held positions as Pastor at Memorial UMC, Grace UMC, and Bethany Charge, where responsibilities included leading multiple churches. Additionally, Steven gained valuable experience as a Pastoral Intern at Bethesda UMC, focusing on youth and young adult ministries. Prior military service includes working as an Administrative Assistant in the US Navy Reserve. Steven's educational background includes a Master of Divinity and Master of Theological Studies from Wesley Theological Seminary, along with a Master's of Theology from Pittsburgh Theological Seminary and a Bachelor's degree in Communication and Political Science from the University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg.
