Phillip Hillis

Phillip Hillis has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Phillip has worked at Virginia Credit Union since 2012, initially as a Business Intelligence - Data Architect and later transitioning to Manager, Enterprise Data Management and then Enterprise Data Management Director. In this role, they were responsible for designing and implementing data warehouses, data marts, and data stores, defining data standards, and building relationships with stakeholders.

In addition to their role at Virginia Credit Union, Phillip was a business owner at Richmond Comix Inc since 2012, where they offered a wide range of comics, graphic novels, and card games to customers. Phillip also founded and operated 3B Press LLC, a small press graphic literature publisher and artist management firm based in Richmond, Virginia.

Prior to their current roles, Phillip worked at Alfa Alliance Insurance Corp as the Programming Supervisor of Information Management from 2005 to 2012. In these roles, they performed programming and system analysis tasks and developed financial systems in AS/400 environments.

Phillip Hillis has a Bachelor of Applied Studies degree in Information Systems from the University of Richmond, which they obtained from 2001 to 2004.
