C. Gordon Ellison

C. Gordon Ellison, P.E., PMP, currently serves as the Assistant District Bridge Engineer for the Virginia Department of Transportation, overseeing the maintenance and rehabilitation of over 3,500 structures across 11 counties since September 2020. Prior to this role, C. Gordon Ellison was a Senior Structural Engineer with the US Army Corps of Engineers in the Portland District from July 2012 to October 2020, and held various leadership positions including Company Commander and Project Manager within the Army. C. Gordon Ellison holds a Master of Business Administration with a focus in Finance from Wake Forest University, a Master of Science in Structural Engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology, and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Structural Engineering from the Virginia Military Institute.
