James Johnston

James Johnston is an experienced facilities management professional with a rich background spanning over three decades. Currently serving as District Facilities Manager at the Virginia Department of Transportation since September 2019, James has held significant roles in prestigious organizations, including Director at PAE and various leadership positions within the U.S. Department of State, such as Division Director and Project Director. James's extensive experience also includes serving as Division Chief of Overseas Building Operations and Senior Facility Manager at U.S. Embassies in Seoul, Budapest, Moscow, and Tokyo. Starting a career in the U.S. Navy as a Construction Electrician, James holds a BSc (Hons) in Facilities Management from Leeds Beckett University.
