Ju-Yin Chen

Ju-Yin Chen, AICP, currently serves as the Data Management & Analytics Team Lead in the Construction Division at the Virginia Department of Transportation, a position held since June 2006. Ju-Yin has also held roles such as Data Scientist in the Business Transformation Office and Travel Demand Modeling Manager in the Transportation and Mobility Planning Division. Previous experience includes positions at the University of Kansas as a Sr. Modeling Systems Analyst and Modeling Systems Analyst, as well as a Statistics Consultant for the Fishery Administration and a Project Assistant at National Sun Yat-Sen University. Ju-Yin holds a Master of Urban Planning with a concentration in Transportation Planning from the University of Kansas, a Master of Science in Marine Biology, and a Bachelor of Science in Marine Resources, both from National Sun Yat-Sen University.
