Matthew Fitzgerald has over 20 years of experience in facilities management and engineering. Currently serving as Section Facilities Manager at the Virginia Department of Transportation since January 2019, Matthew previously held the position of Chief Engineer at U.S. Facilities, Inc. from September 2016 to January 2019, and at Wyndham Virginia Crossings Hotel and Conference Center from September 2004 to September 2016, where Matthew advanced from a new engineer to a leadership role. Earlier experience includes working as a Networking Specialist at Carlton Gray Systems from April 2003 to September 2004. Matthew Fitzgerald holds a Master HVAC/R license acquired in 2009 from Richmond Technical Center and a degree in Electronics Engineering from ITT Technical Institute.
