Sylvester Chukwu Okpala

Sylvester Chukwu Okpala, P.E., CCM, is an experienced Architect/Engineer Manager II and District Area Construction Engineer at VDOT since September 2011, specializing in the engineering design and construction of roadway and bridge projects. Prior roles include Construction Engineer/Manager at NXL Construction Services, where management of roadway and bridge rehabilitation projects was a focus, and Program Manager/CEO at Scoe Associates Corporation, overseeing a range of engineering and construction services. Prior experience also includes serving as Supervisory Civil Engineer and Deputy Program Manager at the DC Department of Transportation, directing project management efforts.
