Stephen Tan

Stephen Tan is a mmWave Engineer at Virginia Diodes, Inc. since September 2020, with responsibilities focused on testing outgoing component products. Stephen's previous roles include Head Lifeguard at the Patrick Henry Family YMCA, overseeing lifeguards and managing emergency situations, as well as serving as an Undergraduate Researcher at Virginia Commonwealth University, where work involved developing a wireless charging sensor node. Additionally, Stephen has extensive experience as a lifeguard at the City of Charlottesville Aquatic Center and acac Fitness & Wellness Center, coupled with a role as a swim team coach for the Hollymead Swim Team. Stephen holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Virginia Commonwealth University and an Advanced Diploma from Albemarle High School with an engineering focus.
