Turner Widgen is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in economic development and business operations. Currently serving as a Business Investment Manager at the Virginia Economic Development Partnership since March 2022, Turner manages domestic and international business attraction and expansion projects, facilitating real estate, workforce, and tax incentive navigation. Prior to this role, Turner was the Chief Operating Officer at the Business Network for Offshore Wind, overseeing daily operations and event planning. Turner has also held key positions at the Commonwealth of Virginia, including Assistant Secretary of Commerce and Trade, where contributions were made to significant projects such as Amazon HQ2. Turner has a solid foundation in communications, having worked in various roles at the Virginia Economic Development Partnership and other organizations. Turner earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communication/Public Relations from Virginia Tech and completed a summer program in Producing at UCLA.
