Shelley Jewell

Shelley Jewell currently serves as the Director of Occupational Therapy at The Virginia Home since April 2022. Previously, Shelley worked as a Program Specialist in Assistive Technology and Intellectual Disabilities at Virginia Commonwealth University from August 2018 to April 2022, and as an Occupational Therapist for Hanover County Public Schools from January 2014 to June 2018, where significant contributions were made in AAC interventions and assistive technology training. Earlier experience includes an Occupational Therapist role at Allied Instructional Services and teaching special education from August 2008 to June 2010. Shelley received a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from Virginia Commonwealth University and a Bachelor of Science in Special Education from the College of Charleston.
