Candi Mundon King

Candi Mundon King currently serves as the Deputy Director for Strategic Partnerships and Engagement at CARE, a position held since February 2022, where Candi leads initiatives to promote CARE's advocacy agenda with the US Government. Previously, Candi worked as a Regional Advocacy Manager for the Virginia House of Delegates and served as a Delegate at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation from December 2015 to February 2022. Candi also operated a business through Virtual Success from January 2012 to January 2021 and held the role of Public Policy Specialist at Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. from October 2007 to December 2012. Early career experience includes working as a Legislative Assistant and Agency Liaison at Norfolk State University from December 2003 to October 2007. Candi holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Government from Norfolk State University, obtained between 2000 and 2004.
