Eric Angel

Eric Angel is a dedicated legal professional with extensive experience in public defense and family law. Currently serving as an Assistant Public Defender II at the Virginia Indigent Defense Commission since November 2023, Eric has previously worked as a Staff Attorney at Legal Services of Northern Virginia, managing cases related to domestic violence and family law. Eric also held positions as an Assistant Public Defender II in both the Prince William County Public Defender's Office and the Tulsa County Public Defender's Office, where vigorous client advocacy and trial management were key responsibilities. Early career experiences include a Law Clerk role at The Offices of Robert Weed, E-Discovery Attorney at Consilio LLC, and Associate positions at Jeff Krigel Law Firm and Shoemake Law, focusing on domestic relations and various legal matters. Eric holds a Juris Doctor degree from The University of Tulsa College of Law and a Bachelor’s degree in History from The University of Georgia.
