Farah Salam Hottle is the Founder and President of Origins Consulting Group, LLC, established in March 2023, which focuses on advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion for organizations through training and strategic planning. With over 15 years of experience in social impact work and DEI strategy, Farah has held significant roles, including Head of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at Vaco from 2012 to 2023, where the first DEI office was launched, and various positions in talent acquisition. In addition, Farah serves on the Board of Directors for the Virginia Interfaith Center for Public Policy. Farah holds a Master's degree in Organization Development and Change from Penn State University, a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Virginia Commonwealth University, a Certificate in Business Coaching from the University of Richmond, and coursework in Financial Accounting from The Wharton School. Recognition includes being honored by local business forums and delivering speeches on critical issues such as interfaith dialogue and Islamophobia.

Founded in 1982, the Virginia Interfaith Center for Public Policy (VICPP) is the advocacy voice for the faith community in Virginia. The organization focuses primarily on issues of economic and racial justice. VICPP is well respected and well known statewide as the largest faith-based economic and social justice organization. VICPP is a non-partisan advocacy organization, not a service one. We work with thousands of Virginians, including a network of almost 1,000 clergy members, 9 chapters/affiliates, most of the judicatory leaders in the state, and activists in every state House and Senate district.
