Sheryl Williford has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Sheryl started their career at A & L Creations/Barr Brothers INC. & Chapman Jewelers as a Bookkeeper/Sales role. In this role, they were responsible for various bookkeeping tasks, sales taxes, preparation of worksheets for auditing, credit life forms, and filing. Sheryl also gained experience in customer service, merchandise inventory, and sales departments.

Afterward, Sheryl joined T. Parker Host as an Exports Coordinator, where they managed container coordination and tracing, took bookings, processed bill of ladings, prepared manifests, and ensured compliance with US customs regulations.

Sheryl then joined Norton Lilly International as an Import Export Coordinator. Here, they handled bookings, quoted rates, prepared and released bills of lading, and coordinated manifest/documentation overseas. Sheryl also collaborated with the import department to make necessary changes to the manifest for US Customs.

Next, Sheryl worked at COSCO Container Lines Americas, Inc. as an Import C/S Supervisor. Sheryl supervised import customer service functions in multiple locations, responded to inquiries, liaised with internal and external stakeholders, and worked closely with entities such as US Customs, USDA, Customs Examination Warehouses, consignees, brokers, and motor carriers.

Most recently, Sheryl joined The Port of Virginia as a Revenue Accounting Specialist. Sheryl'sresponsibilities included daily email management, research on disputes using various database resources, collaboration with departments involved in the research, and communication of findings to customers.

Overall, Sheryl has gained extensive experience in corporate policies and guidelines, customer service, logistics coordination, import/export operations, and financial management throughout their career.

Sheryl Williford obtained a General diploma in Business Education from Norview in the years 1975 to 1977. Later on, from 1990 to 1992, they earned Certificates in International Transportation of cargo/Intermodalism Port 1/Ceem, Inc ISO from Seacom.
