Kavita Chawla MD MHA FACP CRC serves as the Medical Director of Value Based Arrangements and Clinician Engagement, as well as a Primary Care Internist and Internal Medicine Residency Preceptor at Virginia Mason Franciscan Health since August 2013. In addition to these roles, Kavita is involved with the Carol Emmott Foundation as a Carol Emmott Fellow Class of 2025 and leads physician and APP engagement initiatives at CommonSpirit Health. Kavita also founded KaViva Healthcare Consulting, LLC, focusing on physician and APP engagement across various quality and cost initiatives. With a commitment to quality improvement, Kavita is a Quality Improvement Committee Member at the Washington Health Alliance and serves on multiple committees for the Washington State Health Care Authority. Kavita's educational background includes a Doctor of Medicine and a Master of Health Administration from The Ohio State University, and a Bachelor of Science from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
