Philip Matthews

Philip Matthews has a strong background in relationship management and business development within the banking sector. Currently serving as a Business Development Representative at Carrier Enterprise since June 2022, Philip previously held the position of Relationship Manager for Treasury Management at Virginia National Bank, where responsibilities included driving new business growth and implementing development strategies in the Richmond Market. Prior experience includes significant achievements at Middleburg Bank, where $20M in new deposit growth and $15M in loan growth were attained, as well as a role at Wells Fargo that focused on customer relationships and team support. Philip holds an educational background from Virginia Commonwealth University and is currently pursuing further studies at Stratford University.
