Kolbe O’Brien

Kolbe O’Brien is an experienced engineer currently serving as Engineer II at Virginia Natural Gas since June 2022, previously holding roles as Engineer I and Associate Engineer. O’Brien gained valuable experience as an Engineering Intern at WEC Energy Group, where a five-year project design plan was developed to enhance cost-effectiveness, safety, and efficiency, alongside designing system improvements for natural gas delivery. Earlier roles include Production Specialist at Kato Cable, where assistance in cable production and adherence to work instructions was crucial, and Building Assistant at Minnesota State University, responsible for client setups and data documentation. O’Brien also worked as a Coach at Jrobinson Intensive Wrestling Camps, focusing on athlete performance improvement. O’Brien holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Mathematics from Minnesota State University, Mankato, completed in 2022.
