Chris Davidson is a seasoned management consultant and entrepreneur with extensive experience in leadership roles across various organizations. As the Founder and Lead Strategist at Orca Strategies since 2012, Chris specializes in helping executives tackle critical challenges. Currently serving as a Government Relations Consultant for the Virginia Peninsula Chamber, Chris advocates for the business community's legislative priorities. Chris also contributes to the Gilliam Center for Entrepreneurship at James Madison University as a Board Advisor and has been involved with Start Peninsula as a judge. Additional roles include board memberships with the Home Educators Association of Virginia and the York County Chamber of Commerce, as well as co-founding the business platform 123GoGreen. Chris's previous experience includes leadership positions in Rotary International and ComServe Corporation. Chris holds a BBA in Marketing from James Madison University.

Virginia Peninsula Chamber
The Virginia Peninsula Chamber (VPC) serves the business communities of Hampton Roads, the Cities of Newport News, Hampton, Poquoson, James City County, and York County and currently has a membership exceeding 1400 public and private members. The VPC is a business development chamber with the mission to "Connect Business with Opportunity". Core values are: Integrity, Relevance, Involvement and Sustainability. Facilitation, Advocacy, Communication, and Education are the strategies employed to achieve the organization's mission. Business enhancement, regional collaboration, public policy, leadership development (adult and youth), military advocacy, and pursuit of a regional entrepreneurial culture are just a few of the programmatic initiatives which the VPC pursues. The Virginia Peninsula Chamber traces its history back to its earliest records dating to 1898 where we find the Hampton Board of Trade and The Newport News Business Men's Association. In July of 1903 the Chamber of Commerce of Newport News was formed. In 1904 the Hampton Chamber of Commerce was established. In April of 1935, under the leadership of Lloyd Noland, Sr., the business organizations, under various names of Newport News, Hampton, Phoebus, Warwick, Williamsburg, James City County, York County, and Elizabeth City County consolidated to form the Virginia Peninsula Association of Commerce. In December 1958, the name changed to the Peninsula Chamber of Commerce. In September 1984, the name changed to (The) Virginia Peninsula Chamber of Commerce, and in 2022 the name changed to (The) Virginia Peninsula Chamber.
