Parham Behrooz

Parham Behrooz, CFA, serves as Co-Director of Fixed Income at the Virginia Retirement System since June 2012, overseeing investment strategies and management within the bond market. Prior to this role, Parham held the position of Senior Vice President at BB&T Capital Markets from March 2011 to May 2012 and managed the credit sector as Managing Director at Tattersall Advisory Group from July 1996 to December 2009, where responsibilities included leading a team of analysts and developing proprietary credit models. Parham earned a Bachelor of Science in Commerce with a focus on Finance from the University of Virginia's McIntire School of Commerce between 1992 and 1996.
