Ramana Akula

Ramana Akula is an experienced IT professional currently serving as the Director of Business Solutions at Virginia Retirement System since December 2022. Prior to this role, Ramana held various leadership positions at Trianz from July 2017 to December 2022, including Director and Associate Director of Cloud Practice, focusing on guiding enterprises in their cloud migration and infrastructure optimization. Ramana also worked at Altria from January 2015 to June 2017 as a Senior IT Systems Architect, developing cloud solutions for complex applications and managing end-to-end customer engagements. Additional experience includes roles as a Senior Data Architect at Yahoo!, Senior Tech Lead at Citi, and Lead DBA at Applied Materials.
