Crista Whitman

Crista Whitman has extensive work experience in the legal field. Crista began their career at LeClairRyan, where they worked as an Associate from July 2010 to November 2012. Prior to that, they held the role of Document & Data Collection Attorney at the same company starting in 2008. Following their time at LeClairRyan, Crista joined CancerLINC as a Client Services Attorney from August 2013 to April 2016. Most recently, they have been working at the Virginia State Bar as the Director of Access to Legal Services since November 2017.

Crista Whitman pursued their undergraduate studies at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from 1999 to 2003. During this time, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Communications and Media Studies. Later on, Crista attended the University of Richmond School of Law, where they earned a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree with a specialization in Intellectual Property Law.
