DaVida Davis has a diverse work experience spanning several positions and organizations. DaVida began their career as a Deputy Clerk at the Richmond Circuit Court in 1994, where they were responsible for processing civil suits and assisting the presiding judge. DaVida then moved on to the City of Norfolk, VA, where they served as a Deputy Clerk and later as a Supervising Deputy. In these roles, they managed employees, ensured compliance with court guidelines, and established office policies and procedures. In 2017, Davis joined the Virginia State Bar as the Clerk of the Disciplinary System, overseeing the bar's disciplinary records and acting as a liaison to various committees. DaVida currently serves as the Director of Regulatory Compliance, where they are responsible for the administration of attorney regulatory compliance and strategic direction for the bar.
DaVida Davis obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Administration of Justice from Virginia Commonwealth University between 1988 and 1993.
