Daniel Roberts

Daniel Roberts serves as the Founding Honors College Dean and Executive Director of Global and Special Initiatives at Virginia State University since July 2011. Previous experience includes roles as Director at the Institute of International Education's European Office from 2007 to 2011 and at Lock Haven University, where responsibilities included Director of the Institute of International Studies and Instructor of Political Science from 2001 to 2007. Earlier teaching roles took place at Corvinus University of Budapest from 1993 to 1995. Daniel Roberts holds a Doctor of Education in Education Leadership from Virginia Commonwealth University, a Master’s Degree in Political Science and Government from Penn State University, a Master’s Degree in Public Policy Analysis from Carnegie Mellon University, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and Government from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
