Joonsuk Lee

Joonsuk Lee is an accomplished academic and professional in the field of computer science, currently serving as Associate Professor and Chair of the Department of Computer Science at Virginia State University since August 2013. With previous experience as an Assistant Professor and Graduate Program Coordinator, Joonsuk Lee has a robust teaching background, having also held roles at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. Joonsuk Lee’s research contributions include projects in micro-coordination and vivid embodiment, alongside work as a research intern at Google, which resulted in a conference paper. Prior to academia, Joonsuk Lee held various technical and managerial roles in industry, including positions at SeoWon Technology and SK C&C, developing software solutions and managing development teams. Joonsuk Lee holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Virginia Tech, as well as master's and bachelor's degrees from Brown University and Pace University, respectively.
