Linda Noel-Batiste

Linda Noel-Batiste, Ph.D., serves as the Executive Director for Strategic Faculty Initiatives and Innovation, Director of Faculty Development, and Associate Professor of Educational Leadership at Virginia State University since August 2007. Additionally, Linda held the role of Interim Chair for the Department of Educational Leadership from July 2016 to June 2019 and serves as the Project Manager and Co-Principal Investigator for the Wallace Foundation Grant. Academic credentials include a Doctor of Philosophy in Education: Instructional Leadership from Virginia Commonwealth University (1994-2000), a Master of Education in English/Language Arts Teacher Education from Virginia State University (1981-1984), and a Bachelor of Arts in English/Language Arts Teacher Education from Virginia State University (1976-1981). Further professional development includes a Management Development Certificate from Harvard University Graduate School of Education (2018) and an Online Teaching Certificate from the Online Learning Consortium (2016-2017).
