Wanda Velez

Wanda Velez possesses extensive experience in education, particularly in biology and middle school science and math. Currently serving as an Instructor and Course Coordinator for Non-Majors Biology at Virginia State University since January 2014, Wanda has also held positions as a Research Assistant and an Online Adjunct Biology Instructor at John Tyler Community College. Prior teaching roles include middle school science and math positions at St. Joseph School, St. Ann's Catholic School, and St. Michael's School, where responsibilities encompassed instructing a variety of subjects and coordinating school events. Wanda holds a Master's Degree in Biology from Virginia State University, a Teaching Certificate in Secondary Education from Fayetteville State University, and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from the University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras.
