Smith Williams is an accomplished music director and marketing professional with extensive experience in the arts sector. Currently serving as the Vice President of Marketing at Virginia Symphony Orchestra since June 2023, Smith previously held various roles at Alabama Symphony Orchestra from 2010 to 2023, including Director of Marketing and Chorus Accompanist. Smith's notable tenure as Pianist at Unitarian Universalist Church of Birmingham lasted from 2011 to 2023. Educational credentials include a Master of Music and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Piano Performance from Carnegie Mellon University, along with a high school diploma in Music from Alabama School of Fine Arts. Smith's diverse skill set encompasses marketing, music direction, and teaching, reflecting a strong commitment to the performing arts.
