Ashish Patel

Ashish Patel has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries and roles. Ashish started their career as a Plant Engineering Intern at General Motors Truck & Bus Group in 1990. Ashish then joined Booz Allen & Hamilton in 1991, where they served as an Associate, specializing in the Telecommunications Practice. After that, they worked at Sprint Nextel as a Director from 1999 to 2007.

In 2008, Ashish joined DISH Network, where they were responsible for Technology Development related to Devices and Chipsets. Ashish stayed with the company until 2012. Following that, they became an Independent Wireless Technology & Strategy Consultant at Time Warner Cable, from 2013 to 2016.

In 2016, Ashish joined Charter Communications as an Independent Wireless Strategy and Design Consultant. Ashish'srole there lasted until 2021. Currently, they work at the Virginia Tech Applied Research Corporation as a Senior Staff member in the Engineering, Test & Evaluation department.

In addition to their corporate roles, Ashish has also been involved in entrepreneurship. Ashish founded Pateligence LLC in 2012 and has been serving as the Owner and Managing Director ever since. Overall, Ashish Patel's work experience demonstrates their expertise in telecommunications, technology development, and strategic consulting.

Ashish Patel obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Virginia Tech from 1987 to 1991. Ashish then pursued a Master of Science degree in Business from The Johns Hopkins University - Carey Business School from 1992 to 1995. In addition, they have obtained several certifications such as "Learning QGIS," "Product Management: Building a Product Roadmap," and "IoT Foundations: Low-Power Wireless Networking" from LinkedIn in 2019.
