Michael Miller

Michael Miller began their work experience in 2000 as a C2ISR/Air Battle Management Aircrew in the United States Air Force, where they gained technical knowledge in command and control operations, wireless communications, and radar systems. Michael then joined Capstone Corporation as a C4ISR Expert & Project Manager for U.S. Joint Forces Command from 2007 to 2010. Following that, they worked at SAIC as a Senior ISR Expert for U.S. Strategic Command, where they supported global ISR operations and coordinated with various agencies. From 2011 to 2015, Miller served as the Secretary of Defense’s ISR Task Force - Branch Chief & Senior ISR Advisor at Systems Technologies, Inc. during which they delivered innovative technology for time-critical global ISR operations. Michael then joined Azimuth Corporation as a Branch Chief & Senior ISR Expert for Undersecretary of Defense, Intelligence (OUSDI) from 2015 to 2017, where they supported the development of Project Maven and advised on operational decisions. Lastly, Miller currently serves as the Division Director - Engineering, Test & Evaluation Division at Virginia Tech Applied Research Corporation, where they provide strategic leadership and manages a multi-million dollar portfolio of defense and private sector programs in wireless communications, software development, cybersecurity, and more.
