Serena Beeks

Case Study Leader at Virginia Theological Seminary

Serena Beeks is an accomplished educator and administrator with extensive experience in various leadership roles within the Episcopal community. Since July 2018, Serena has served as the U.S. Coordinator for the Haiti School Partnership Program at the National Association of Episcopal Schools. Serena has also held positions at Virginia Theological Seminary as a Case Study Leader since 2008, and has been involved with the Episcopal Diocese of Los Angeles as the retired Executive Director for the Commission on Schools. Prior roles include Interim Director of Lower Elementary at St James Episcopal School in Los Angeles, Founding Head of Middle School at The Alexander Dawson School of Las Vegas, and Founding Head of School at St. Mark's Episcopal School in Upland, CA. Serena Beeks holds a Doctor of Ministry in Theology/Educational Leadership from Virginia Theological Seminary, a Master’s degree in Education from Claremont Graduate University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Music and Mathematics from the University of California, Berkeley.
