Cathy Waltrip

Cathy Waltrip is an experienced hospitality professional with a strong background in tourism and hotel management. Currently serving as the Eastern Regional Manager for the Virginia Tourism Corporation since 2007, Cathy has previously held the position of Executive Director at the Williamsburg Hotel & Motel Association from 1996 to 2006. Further experience includes serving as General Manager at Green Lane, Inc. from 1985 to 1996 and Director of Operations at A. J. & L. Corporation from 1980 to 1985. Cathy holds a Certified Hotel Administrator (CHA) designation from the AH&L Educational Institute, specializing in hotel administration.
