Rhea Calfee

Rhea Calfee has a diverse professional background with extensive experience in education and tourism. Currently serving as a Stable Hand at Tuckahoe Plantation Stables since August 2020 and a Tourism Counselor at the Virginia Tourism Corporation since May 2019, Rhea has also held several teaching positions, including Speech & Drama Teacher and Homebound Instructor at Chesterfield County Public Schools. Rhea’s tenure at Chesterfield County Public Schools spans over a decade, during which time Rhea taught English and served as an elementary teacher for various grade levels. Rhea began the teaching career as a Lead Preschool Teacher at the Lutheran Church of Our Savior. Rhea holds a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from Virginia Tech and has completed post-graduate studies in Language Arts and Theatre at John Tyler Community College and the University of Richmond.
