Leah Martin

Leah Martin is a dedicated medical professional with diverse experience in patient care across various healthcare settings. Currently serving as a Medical Assistant at Virginia Women's Center since August 2021, Leah collaborates with providers to ensure quality outpatient care, handling tasks such as assisting during procedures and managing patient communications. Previously, Leah worked as a Patient Care Technician at Bon Secours Health System, providing critical care to hospitalized patients and performing vital assessments. Leah's experience also includes roles as an Ophthalmic Imager at Virginia Eye Institute, NCTA Travel Trainer and Scribe at ScribeAmerica, and participation in a healthcare shadowing program in Portugal. Leah holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Virginia Commonwealth University, complemented by a minor in Chemistry.
