Albert Yanez Sr

Joined Viridi in 2021 as Manufacturing Advisor to the CEO, and later was named Chief Manufacturing Officer. Before joining Viridi, Albert was President at Asteelflash Group where he Spearheaded strategic shifts such as full artificial intelligence and provide oversight for an operations and sales strategy that realized $1B in sales.

Albert’s cleantech startup experience includes time at Serious Energy where he focused on green building materials. He successfully led the retrofit of the Empire State Building, the Virginia Space Museum, the White House and Pentagon, and many other iconic buildings. He has also held executive positions with Western Digital, MSL, and HP, and successfully IPO’d his own startup.

With advanced degrees from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and MIT Sloan School of Management, Albert provides thought leadership content for media outlets such as SMT Magazine, I-Connect007, and Manufacturing Today.
