Carly Morrison

Carly Morrison is a highly experienced professional in the field of bioprocess development, currently serving as Senior Manager of Cell Culture Process Development at Viridian Therapeutics, Inc. since April 2025. Prior to this role, Carly held the position of Senior Manager of Upstream Process Development & Manufacturing at Leap Therapeutics, where significant achievements included executing external process development and managing technology transfers for late-stage antibody production. As a Bioprocess Engineer at TurtleTree, Carly was instrumental in scaling up proprietary technology by 2,500 times within a year. Beginning a career at Pfizer, Carly served as a Scientist in Upstream Process Development, focusing on mammalian CHO cell culture processes for biotherapeutics across various clinical phases and leading projects that involved technology transfer to GMP manufacturing. Carly holds a Master of Science in Bioengineering from Tufts University and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
