Rachel Kaplan Newell

Rachel Kaplan Newell is a Senior Research Scientist at Viridian Therapeutics, Inc., with a career spanning over two decades in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries. Prior to the current role, Rachel held positions at miRagen Therapeutics, Inc., where responsibilities included leading research efforts and developing assays, and at FibroGen, Inc., managing discovery research projects while serving as Lab and Safety manager. Rachel's earlier experience includes senior research roles at VaxGen and Deltagen, focusing on assay development, drug product characterization, and execution of characterization studies.
